Chicity, born and raised. Technically I am currently in the burbs, but we’ll disregard that.
From October - April it can pretty much feel like all four seasons wrapped up into one day. If you ever return be sure that you come early June or late August. Those are the best! The city is pretty awesome when you can travel about without a parka.
I’m glad you at least won a souvenir, that makes things a little better.
