I like to do this at the beginning of every semester.  I’d just like to let you know that I was one of you at this exact time last year.  It’s crazy to think how life’s changed and how much I’ve accomplished and have yet to accomplish.  When I was a student teacher, I believe I had something around 16 followers and it’s unbelievable to me now when I see that people (like way more than the number of Facebook friends I have) actually like to listen to what little, unimportant things I have to say. (So thank you if you’re following me and you’ve come along on this journey with me.) 

With all that said, welcome to a great community. You’re in good hands.
