TDD: What is the beset way to spend the day in Chicago?
If we’re talking downtown, I’d start out on Michigan Avenue & State Street. I’d hit up Macy’s in the morning, I’d wander up and down all of the floors until I found myself a nice new swimsuit and a nice new outfit before the scorching summer heat hit. I’d go to Rick Bayless’s restaurant, Xoco, for lunch and get myself something delicious before spending the afternoon on the lake. In the evening, I’d change into my new outfit and make my way north to hangout on some pub’s patio to share a few drinks with friends while enjoying the summer night’s humidity and the echoes of the CTA in the background. So simple, but that’d be perfect.
