I think I am going to start doing Friday Spotlights on things I’ve used in my classroom, teaching resources, teaching tips, etc..
I thought I’d start off with something for Early Ed., Kindergarten, and possibly 1st.
I’ve used HarryKindergarten when I was the Computer Technology teacher. He’s got TONS of songs and videos for just about everything you can think of. They’re a really great resource if you have a projector or Promethean board in your room. I would play these songs for the students and tie them into that day’s activity.
Other songs featured on his YouTube include:
- The Needs of an Animal
- Let’s Make a Circle
- Coins in my Hand
- All about Diligence (To Let’s Get Physical. Hilarious)
- M-O-T-H-E-R (For Mother’s Day, to the tune of BINGO)
- 911 Fire Safety
- HipHop Around the Clock (Telling Time)
- And many, many more.
To find his YouTube channel either click “View on YouTube” in the video or google HarryKindergarten.
